A book list of 110 math literature titles for early elementary ages with links to read alouds on YouTube. Great as a hook for new skills, to preview books, re-read, or as a supplement your lesson plans.
I’ve researched, read, and collected a lot of math books. My oldest loves math, and some of these books have been a great hook for learning new skills. I’ve been incorporating read-alouds in our math basket each week.
There’s something about a YouTube read aloud video. It’s a cross between books and TV that hits the sweet spot with kids. I used to use videos daily with my first graders during their snack. Ten minutes of peace. Ahhh. Plus they were so excited to see a book they read or read the book again after they “saw it on TV.”
