We are excited to celebrate Read Across America Week and learn a little about one of the most beloved children’s books authors – Dr. Seuss! I’ve put together some of our favorites in a fun and educational playlist of our very favorite read alouds!
I can’t tell you how much we love Dr. Seuss in our home. One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and Fox in Socks were some of the very first books I read to my children as babies.
Dr. Seuss books are one of the very few authors that all of my children enjoy together! As they’ve grown we’ve used Cat in the Hat Beginner Books to learn to read and as supplements for many of our unit studies.
I’m so excited to share an elementary playlist of just a few of our favorite read-alouds, sing-alouds, and a few facts about Theodore Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. I hope this playlist will bring the fun and fantasy of Dr. Seuss into your homes and classrooms.
