I never appreciated St Patrick’s Day until I was celebrating with kids. For us, it’s a just-for-fun holiday where we take time out for fun and games – and of course, try to catch a leprechaun!
When I was teaching, my kids really got into it. Searching for a leprechaun that snuck into our classroom during lunchtime was a nice break from the regular routine. Now, with my own kids at home, we have more time for educational activities with a fun factor.
